Customer Service Employee of the Yearin association with

Bob Stelian

Nominee: Bob Stelian

Nominated by: Jacqueline McDermott

BOB STELIAN has been nominated for Customer Service Employee because he is ‘always accommodating,’ and ‘puts the customer first in every situation.’

Mr Stelier is Conference and Events Senior Executive at the Royal Yacht Hotel in St Helier, where he has worked for the past 10 years. His nominator and manager Jacqueline McDermott said, ‘he’s thoughtful, respectful, knowledgeable, and nothing is too much trouble.

Ms McDermott said that it is ‘a pleasure to have him’ on her team, to whom ‘he is a role-model.’

Mr Stelian is known amongst the staff for his sense of humour, and making the occasional practical joke, but ‘Whilst Bob has a fun side is the ultimate professional and will go the extra mile without question for colleagues and clients alike.’

Mrs McDermott noted that ‘client feedback praises his professionalism and kindness.’

She added: ‘Bob has a great rapport and relationship with our clients. He is knowledgeable and calm always able to find a solution. His management of all events from conferences to big parties to family occasions or more sombre events allows clients to relax and feel confident in that the delivery of whatever their event will be seamless. He does not think twice about looking ‘outside of the box’ to ensure clients expectations are exceeded.’

It is this ensuring that needs are met and more that has caused clients Mr Stelian has worked with to return ‘often and above’ for future events and occasions.
