A LEGAL representative who helped her clients through a ‘daunting time’ has been nominated for Customer Service Employee of the Year.
Dawn Barette, who works for Collas Crill in St Helier, was guiding Ann-Marie Weatherby through the sale of her house earlier this year, and Ms Weatherby said that Ms Barette was ‘really approachable and informative and made us feel very relaxed and explained everything in detail with us.’ Ms Weatherby was especially grateful for Ms Barette’s explaining the legal side to buying a property in Jersey, as this is something Ms Weatherby feels she did not understand well at the time.
Ms Weatherby had never dealt with Lawyers before and was concerned that she might ask ‘daft’ questions, but thankfully Ms Barrette assuaged these fears. Ms Weatherby says: ‘Dawn was very down to earth and human, along with being professional.’
She added: ‘This was an unknown area for us and we had lots of questions for Dawn but she was more than happy to guide us through and answered all our queries.
‘Dawn stood out for us as she was very approachable and always went out of her way to help and thoroughly explain each step, and made us feel at ease, and that nothing was too much bother.’
Mrs Weatherby felt that all worries they wouldn’t understand proceeding with Dawn and Collas Crill were assuaged because ‘all involved were informative, friendly, and helpful,’ and that they would ‘definitely recommend Collas Crill to others.’
